Here are the steps and methods to properly use a paddle board:

1. Preparation:

Choose the right paddle board: Choose the right size and type of paddle board according to your height, weight, skill level and use scenario.

- Wear proper equipment: Always wear a life jacket and make sure it fits and is tightly fastened; It is recommended to wear comfortable, fast drying sports clothing, avoid wearing too loose or easy to wrap clothes; According to the weather conditions and water temperature, consider wearing hats, sunglasses, gloves, etc. If using paddle boarding in cold water or weather, you may need to wear waterproof clothing or warm clothing; In addition, don't forget to tie the foot rope, secure it firmly to the ankle, to prevent the paddle board from floating away in the water.

- Check the paddle and paddle: before use, carefully check whether the paddle is damaged, air leakage and other problems to ensure the integrity and safety of the paddle; Check whether the connection part of the paddle is firm, and whether the blade is damaged or deformed.

- Choose the right body of water: choose calm, open water with slow flow and no obstacles, such as lakes, ponds, calm rivers or bays; Avoid using paddle boards in areas with strong currents, whirlpools, rocks, frequent vessel movement, or other hazards; Understand the depth and quality of the water and whether there are potential hazard factors such as undercurrents, sharp objects, etc. If you are in unfamiliar waters, it is best to consult the relevant local authorities, professionals or experienced paddleboarders.

2. Board tips:

- Push the paddle board into shallow water and stand next to the paddle board, taking care not to get your tail fin into the sand.

- Hold the handle of the paddle board with both hands, first supporting yourself, then moving one knee to kneel on the board, then kneeling the other knee to either side of the handle. For beginners, it is recommended to use a kneeling position to row, you can kneel straight 90 degrees row, you can also sit on their feet row.


3. Kneeling position change standing: When the kneeling position has a certain feeling and balance ability, you can try to stand up on the paddle board.

- First fasten the paddles to the paddle board with both hands, forming a six-point support (hands, knees and feet).

- Then from kneeling to squatting, now to four-point support (hands and feet).

- Then stand the oar upright on the paddle board and turn it into a three-point support (hold the oar rod with both hands and land on one foot).

- Slowly climb up the oar with both hands, while maintaining your balance until you are firmly on the paddle board.

4. Paddle action:

Paddle grip : The blade of the paddle should be forward like a spoon with words, so that the paddle is raised about 20 cm higher than the height, this is the standard paddle length, if it is difficult to operate long, short stroke body arch is very tired.
